Adoration of the Great Goddess: A Tripura Sundari Lunar Ceremony

Tuesday 31st March · Oxford · 4:30 – 6:00 pm · Free

You are warmly invited to the sacred ceremony held at a particularly significant moment of the lunar cycle: Tripura Sundari, which occurs two days prior to the Full Moon.

In the Tantric tradition, Tripura Sundari represents the feminine principle of universal love, harmony, and divine beauty. She is understood as a refining power of consciousness—one that awakens discernment, balance, and the capacity to radiate goodness in the world.

This lunar phase naturally supports clarity, proportion, and inner alignment. It offers an opportunity to soften habitual, ego-driven impulses, reconnect with deeper aspirations, and consciously orient one’s life toward love, beauty, creativity, and higher values.

Through guided ceremonial meditation—employing intention, focused awareness, and subtle inner alignment—participants are invited to attune to this universal field of influence. By resonating with these timeless qualities of consciousness, the ceremony supports the awakening and integration of latent spiritual potential, fostering a deeper sensitivity to the underlying harmony of existence.

The ceremony includes a brief introduction to the spiritual significance of Tripura Sundari, followed by a guided experiential practice. It is open and accessible to all, whether new to contemplative or Tantric practices or already engaged in a spiritual path.

All are welcome. No prior experience is required.

Edrisa Mayova

Edrisa began her spiritual journey in 2016, following an intuition that there is much more to life, and by curiously applying the Tantric and yogic teachings she quickly and profoundly transformed her life. After a year of intense daily practice, Edrisa began to feel a strong desire to help others discover their own spiritual revelations. She has organised spiritual theatre groups, and women’s circles that focused on awakening femininity and the art of initiatic dance. Edrisa is fascinated by the potential each one of us holds within, and she is keen to help others find the spiritual meaning in their life. She enjoys both stepping into the intensity of life and savouring it in all its nuances, as well as retreating into silence in nature, where she can contemplate the essence of creation in its utmost simplicity.
