In Sanskrit the word Shakti means ‘feminine power’, ‘force of nature’ or ‘energy’ – it can also refer to a woman who is fully connected to her feminine nature and her inner creative potential.
Every woman holds a treasure within that will blossom when given the right conditions.
Modern life with all its stresses does not make it easy to flourish as a woman – it is a world where we rely too much on our minds and forget the wisdom of our bodies and emotions. We no longer notice the Goddess that resides within.
Connecting to our feminine hearts we discover a different way of being in this world – a way that offers happiness, fulfilment and a greater sense of truly being alive.
In this short course, we will cover seven main topics and explore them through practical exercises, guided meditations, movement and Tantric techniques:
Feminine vitality and the way it is reflected from the physical body all the way to the spiritual dimension
Tantric sensuality as a key for expanding the consciousness through profound pleasure and healing intimacy
Discovering an authentic state of self confidence that kindles inner freedom
The secrets of the feminine heart and the role of affection, empathy, and love in bridging the way to a more sacred life
The enigmatic mysteries of feminine intuition
Role of lucidity and discernment in being an awakened woman
The interwoven connection between the state of humbleness and the greatest wisdom
Most importantly, we will learn from our togetherness and the unique qualities we each contribute.

Being a part of these groups for women has been so insightful for me, I feel much more confident in my qualities, more at home in myself and my femininity. My relationships with men and women have improved drastically. I had no idea how profound the path of a Shakti is!

My biggest transformation has been through the women’s Tantra class, learning how to connect with and nurture the divine feminine shakti within my being. This has been brought about by the wonderful teachings and inspiring teachers at Tara. They have helped me to uncover my unique qualities and provided me with the skills that I needed to transform from the inside out.
