An ancient Yogic detoxification technique, Sanka Praksalana is a powerful, simple purification practice that can be done easily in your own home.
Unlike colonic irrigation, enemas or other modern procedures that only cleanse the large intestine, sanka praksalana cleans the entire digestive system. It is a genuine, inexpensive yogic alternative to colonic hydrotherapy, and offers many benefits, such as weight loss, clearer skin, diminishing symptoms of IBS and eliminating toxins.
It is recommended to perform Sanka at least twice a year, to refresh and reset the vitally important digestive system. The technique is simple and accessible, but guidance and support during the first executions of this technique makes all the difference.
Join experienced Yoga teacher Alina online for an at-home workshop, where you can perform the technique with full support, as Alina guides the steps and answers your questions. This is rare opportunity to be fully supported in performing this hugely healing, ancient procedure.
We encourage you to take this step towards a happier, healthier and more radiant you!
Why do a cleanse?
The body is systematically intoxicated by diet and environmental factors. These toxins accumulate and are embedded in the mucous lining of the intestinal walls, and are considered an important cause of premature aging and the source of a wide range of health issues. Sanka removes all toxic substances from the digestive tract, also eliminating bad breath and other bodily odours. It has beneficial effects on the liver and pancreas, and improves overall digestion.
What is involved?
All you need is salt water, the specific set of movements, and a toilet! The technique can take from 1-3 hours to perform, depending on your individual structure, and after-care is also important. Rest, and a careful, specific re-introduction of foods is prescribed. You will have access to a preparatory talk explaining the technique with all its stages, and what to prepare before starting.
Benefits of Sanka Praksalana
A few days after the cleanse you may notice a great improvement in quality of sleep, and a natural balancing of body weight.
Reduces headaches and helps fight numerous other health complaints caused by issues in the gut such as IBS or skin issues.
It is also a rejuvenating beauty treatment, recommended by Yogic sages for its improvement in the clarity of the complexion, brightness of eyes, and overall radiance.
