Autumn Equinox Celebration

Sunday 21st September · London · 6:30pm – 8:30pm · donation

Ritual of Purifying the Inner Temple, Balancing Yin & Yang

Each year, the Autumn Equinox marks a sacred threshold — a moment of perfect balance, when light and dark, day and night, Yin and Yang, stand in exquisite harmony.

This cosmic pause, occurring on September 22, 2025, at 19:19 UK time, marks the transition from summer’s vibrancy to autumn’s introspective embrace, as the Sun enters Libra, the sign of harmony and connection. In this balance, we find a profound opportunity to align with the rhythms of nature and our own inner cycles.

This year, its power is magnified by a Solar Eclipse in Virgo on 21st September, amplifying the call for purification, discernment, and preparation for profound inner equilibrium.

At this turning of the wheel, we are invited to honour the harvest of our journey — both the fruits we can touch and the quieter growth within our souls. Yet as the days shorten and nights lengthen, nature reminds us of another truth: that growth is inseparable from release.

Like leaves surrendering to the earth, we are asked to let go of what no longer nourishes us — stagnant energies, limiting beliefs, illusions. These endings are not loss, but transformation: a sacred act of composting that prepares fertile ground for new life and new chapters to emerge within our inner temple.

In the tantric tradition, this liminal time invites us to harmonise the potent dance of Shiva and Shakti within — the union of consciousness and energy, clarity and grace, structure and flow. The Virgo eclipse offers the sharp light of clarity that cleanses the vessel, while the Equinox — the passage from Virgo into Libra — graces us with the power to integrate these energies into vibrant, dynamic equilibrium.

This is a time to embrace the duality within — light and shadow, holding and releasing — and to discover the deeper wisdom of balance. When we honour both sides of the cycle, we find ourselves not diminished by endings but restored by them.

We are called inward, on an introspective journey, allowing inner space and silence to take root, so that our deepest visions can emerge with renewed authenticity. And as most journeys are more beautiful when shared, we invite you to join us for an evening of astrology, connection, meditation, and heart-opening ritual in our Equinox Circle Gathering, where we will:

  • Explore the astrology and meaning of this celestial threshold, learning how best to align with the Virgo Eclipse and the Autumn Equinox’s balancing energies.
  • Enter meditation and attune to the Equinox energy, harmonising Yin and Yang within.
  • Reflect on the cycle that has unfolded since the Spring Equinox, honouring the growth, lessons, and harvests of the past season, and planting new seeds for visions yet to come.
  • Share in a cleansing and releasing ritual, opening the heart to deep inner listening and surrendering what no longer serves, creating space for clarity and purity.
  • Set intentions rooted in balance, authenticity, harmony, and love, grounding them through shared presence and connection with the Earth’s rhythms.

The magic of the Equinox is that when we create from balance, not force, our visions take root effortlessly. Let us step into this new cycle together — grounded, open-hearted, and aligned with the rhythm of the cosmos, ready to embody our inner purity and perfect balance.
