Halloween is the time of year where children dress up as ghosts, skeletons and zombies, a practice left over from a celebration of the spirits of the dead. In this talk we will discuss the existence of subtle entities in the yogic tradition known as Devas, or angels, and Asuras, or demons. What can these ancient traditions tell us about the existence and role of such beings in creation and in what way do they influence our lives?
